On 14 November 2025, The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), led by Mr. Sumed Prasongphongchai Director of GIT attended a progress meeting for the International Chanthaburi Gems and Jewelry Festival 2025, which will be held from 5–10 December 2025 at the Chanthaburi Gems and Jewelry Center , KP Jewelry Center and the Gems Market on Sri Chan Road.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Monsit Paisarntanawat, Governor of Chanthaburi Province, and took place at the Taksin Meeting Room, Chanthaburi Provincial Hall. The discussion covered the event’s framework and design, coordination with local business operators, and strategies for international-level public relations—aimed at positioning Chanthaburi as a “World’s City of Gems.”
