GIT joins forces with Chanthaburi Province to organize the “International Chanthaburi Gems & Jewelry Festival 2025”

The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), in collaboration with Chanthaburi Province, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), and key partners from both the public and private sectors, held an official press conference for the International Chanthaburi Gems and Jewelry Festival 2025 on 17 November 2025 at the Jewel Hall, 2nd Floor, Jewelry Trade Center, Bangkok. The event announced the festival’s full readiness to host one of Thailand’s most significant international gem and jewelry fair in Chanthaburi.

The press conference was honored by the presence of executives from several agencies, who shared insights on the significance, objectives, and readiness of this year’s event. Key speakers included Mr. Montasit Paisarnthanawat, Governor of Chanthaburi Province, Mr. Sumed Prasongphongchai, Director General of GIT, Mr. Surint Suntronsanan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, Mr. Phuket Khunprapakorn, Advisor to the Chanthaburi Gem and Jewelry Traders Association and Ms. Kanokporn Damrongkul, Director of the Domestic MICE Marketing Department, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB)

The International Chanthaburi Gems and Jewelry Festival 2025 will be held from 5–10 December 2025 at the Chanthaburi Gem and Jewelry Center, KP Jewelry Center, and the Gems Market on Sri Chan Road, under the theme “Chanthaburi City of Gems” The event emphasizes Chanthaburi’s long-standing prominence as a global hub for gemstones and jewelry craftsmanship.

This year’s festival will bring together more than 300 exhibitors from Thailand and abroad, showcasing rough gemstones, cut stones, jewelry materials, premium jewelry designs, and industry-related tools and equipment. Visitors will also enjoy a range of special activities, including:

  • Jewelry Design Exhibitions across three showcase zones
  • Seminars and workshops aimed at strengthening industry expertise and craftsmanship
  • BWC Business Matching for global trade opportunities
  • On-site gemstone authentication services by GIT specialists

The International Chanthaburi Gems and Jewelry Festival 2025 is not only a major platform showcasing the excellence of Thailand’s gem and jewelry industry but also a driving force for local economic growth, tourism stimulation, and elevating Chanthaburi toward becoming a true “World’s City of Gems.”
